Hunger Games was a book I truly could not put diown. The descriptive language was so easy to read and really made me imagine myself in the districts or the games itself. The horrifying experience was one that was truly unimaginable, but her writing made it incredibly easy to believe. Katniss was a character you wanted to fight for and wanted to win. It was a unique glance at how bad things could be if all decisons were made by the wrong people.

"How Not to Be Popular"- I absolutely loved this book because it had a girl who tried her best to fit in, and usually succeeded to be pretty popular, and decided she wanted a life where she wouldn't get hurt anymore, to stay in the shadows. She ends up trying too hard to not have friends, and she hurts a lot of people. By the end of the book, she decides to try her best to lead a natural and true, life.

How NOT to be Popular

This book was the most funniest book ever. I will probably read her other book's. This book was about how a girl makes alot of friends. But when she gets comfortable she has to move. She feels that she will dress up like dork, talk to weird people, and not make friends. All because she does not want to have to leave. She does not want a boy friend either, but she does. I like this book because the title is kind of interesing. I mean how not to be popular sounds like a book that guides you. I like the way the author desribes the kiss.

Well this book is so sad for me yet it is so interesting that you get hooked on it.
It is about this young lady who just go out of a comma and dose not remember anything about her life.
The ending for me is the best part even though I wanted to know more I was so happy at the end.

'The Red Necklace' takes place in borderline-revolution France with plot lines thicker than blood. It will absorb you into a world where only noble Lords and Ladies have enough food to squander and the citizens have none to spare. Filled to the brim with murder, mysteries, treason, magic, and intriuge that will keep you wanting more.

Diamond Willow is a sweet and loving book. It's written in diamond shaped poems that have secret messages in them that gives them a bigger look into the characters feelings and thoughts. And in this story Willow has to live with the fact that Roxy is going to be blind for the rest of their lives. Or will he ever see again? You should all read this book it was so heart-warming.

This book was HILARIOUS!! I had a really good time reading it. Sugar (Maggie) Dempsie's parents might be my favorite part about the whole book. They are wacky and loving at the same time. Any person that has ever had to be the "new student" would get a kick out of this book. It was one of those where you got so frustrated with the character, but you desperately wanted to keep reading in order to find out what would happen. It looks like a "girly" book from the cover, but there are parts in it for guys too. I reccomend this book to all middle school/high school students. I flew through the pages and was laughing out loud at some parts.

I really liked this book because first of all I am so totally obsessed with vampires and this was totally a good book for people who are also obsessed with it. The reason that I would totally recommend people who enjoy vampires is because it is talking about how several vampires are suppose to be doing this amazing trick to graduate, and then he dose this impression of a white owl but then all of a sudden he changes into a moth and for vampires it is a big surprise because e if you accidentally change into an animal you didn’t have in mind you would stay like that animal for the rest of your life. But everyone is amazed because he pulls it of… well I think I have said too much I wouldn’t want to ruin the book for anyone! D

Futuristic brain gel? What a concept? It was super interesting. I liked the way the book was designed with sporadic poem interspersed throughout the novel. I also liked that it was set in what was obviously the future, but it did not come out and directly state it. It was a book that you genuinely find yourself asking the entire time, "what is the BIG secret?" You continue to read until you find out and it is a suprise. This book would capture the interest of any age and any type of reader. It really makes your questions the advantages and disadvantages of "playing God."

This book is based on true events, which is what lured me to it. There is a pawn shop owner that pays people for their deepest, darkest secrets. Wish! The secrets that the people tell are mind-blowing. The better the secret, the better the payoff. It is even more interesting to see where this mysterious pawn owner came from; what's his secret? It got me thinking, how much would you get for your secrets?

I didn't like the book because I felt like it was or is kind of fruity or not manly enough because of the fact of how it is or how I have portrayed it. The protagonist in Waiting for Normal is a young girl wise beyond her years. All Addie wants is a normal life. What she has instead is an "all or nothing" dysfunctional mother, two half-sisters and a stepdad she'd rather live with, and a unique friendship with the woman who owns the gas station across the lot from the small trailer where Addie and her mother live. Despite the hardships with which she must cope, Addie remains optimistic about her life, hopes, and dreams. I especially liked the down-to-earth dialogue of the characters and how Addie helps her new friend at school by standing up to a bully. You’ll love what she says to comfort her friend (see p. 39-40)!
